ADMISSION ANNOUNCEMENT-2012-13
Central University of Orissa invites applications from the intending students for admission to various Programmes/Courses for the Academic Year 2012-2013.
Programmes/Courses offered: (i) M.A. English, (ii) M. A. Oriya, (iii) M.A. Sociology, (iv) M.A./M.Sc. Anthropology, (v)M.A Economics,(vi) M.A. Journalism & Mass Communication, (vii) M.Sc. Biodiversity and Conservation of Natural Resources (viii) M.A./M.Sc. Mathematics (Five years Integrated)
Mode of Selection: The selection will only be made through All India Entrance Examination.
Examination Centres: Bhubaneswar, Koraput, Kolkota, Visakhapatnam, Ranchi, Raipur, Hydrabad and Nagpur
Eligibility: (i) For two year P.G. Programmes: A Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline under 10+2+3 pattern with at least 45% marks in the concerned subject or in aggregate as the case may be, (ii) For five year Integrated course of Mathematics: 10+2 with at least 45% of Marks in Mathematics.
Reservation of Seats: As per the Government of India Rules
How to Apply: Application form and prospectus can be obtained by paying Rs. 300/- (Rs. 200/- for SC/ST/PH) in shape of Bank Draft drawn on any Nationalized Bank in favour of CENTRAL UNIVERSITY OF ORISSA payable at Bhubaneswar or by Cash at the Counter. The application forms can be obtained by sending Bank Draft along with a self addressed (unstamped) envelope of minimum size 30 cms x 25 cms to the Registrar, Central University of Orissa, Camp Office at Type-C, Block-4, New Government Colony, Gajpati Nagar, Bhubaneswar-751017 (Odisha) or the Registrar, Central University of Orissa (Old Central Silk Board Building) Landiguda, Koraput – 764020 indicating the category for which the application form is required Or (ii)The application form and prospectus can also be obtained in cash at Counters of the University at Bhubaneswar and also at Landiguda, Koraput or(iii) the application form and prospectus can also be downloaded from the University’s website. On submission of downloaded application form duly filled in should accompany the requisite fee in shape of Bank Draft.
