The Punjab State Board of Technical Education and Industrial Training (P.S.B.T.E. & IT)  Conduct a Test named J.E.T 2013 ,Joint Entrance Test-2013 For admission into various Diploma courses available in Polytechnic colleges in punjab

What Is Joint entrance test 2013 (JET 2013)?

Applications  for JET-2013 are invited from candidates desirous of seeking admission to diploma courses in the institutions (located in Punjab and Chandigarh -UT) affiliated to the Punjab State Board  Of Technical Education And  Industrial Training.  

             JET -2013 (Joint Entrance Test)  will be conducted by the Board for admission to various diploma courses which are being offered  or proposed to be offered in the Institutions

Eligibility Criteria for Applying JET 2013?


The test shall be open to candidates who have passed the matriculation or equivalent examination in Mathematics, Science (Physics, Chemistry & Biology) and English from State Board /central Board i.e. CBSE/ICSE/National Open School or from any other country.

How to apply For JET entrance test 2013 ?
1. For appearing in the JET only OMR application form needs to be submitted. The form is available at a cost of Rs.
50/- only.
2. SUBMISSION OF APPLICATION FORM: The JET Application Form(also referred to as OMR Form) complete in
all respects should be enclosed in the envelop supplied with the form and submitted at affiliated polytechnic
institutions and at the Board's Office on or before last date of submission of Application Form.
3. EXAMINATION CENTRES : The JET will be conducted at all district head quartes and important cities based on
the number of candidates.The exact location of the Examination Centre at these places will be intimated in the
Admit Card, which shall be issued to the candidates on acceptance of their Application Form by the Board.
4. DUPLICATE ADMIT CARD : Candidates who do not receive the Admit Card by 1st Week of April may contact
Board's office on 4, 5 and 6 April, 2013 for issue of Duplicate Admit Cards. Admit Card can only be issued after
showing photocopy of the submitted Application Form. A copy of the Admit Card is also available in the Board's
websites. Candidates, who do not receive Admit Card by post, can take a print out from websites and
proceed to the Examination centre alongwith a copy of the passport size photograph.
5. No fee will be taken while submission of the application forms. The application form will be collected by the
respective Principals of the Schools of both Govt. as well as private sector and the Govt. and Private Polytechnic
