Good Colleges apart from IIM that accept CAT/MAT/GMAT score
Indian Institute of Managements are most definitely one of best business schools in the country, however, they are still not the only one. There are plethora of good business schools in India that are as good the IIMs if not better.  So even if you haven’t been able to get through the IIM’s, don’t be disheartened there are a plenty of other good b-schools to apply for.
After all your hard work, just because the IIM’s didn’t happen, doesn’t mean that your CAT or GMAT or MAT scores would lose credibility. Here are few colleges that accept the scores and are equally good as the IIMs.

  1. Faculty of Management Studies: FMS is located in Delhi and was established in 1954. It offers both full time and part time MBA along with other higher educational programs like PhD etc. Umpteen students, prepare and strive to get into this college. It ranks fourth in the top MBA colleges in India list after IIM’s and XLRI.
CAT cut off: 98.56

  1. SP Jain Management and Research: SPJIMR was established in 1981. It has been ranked 5th and is definitely one of the top MBA colleges in India. In 2014 each student had more than 1 offer for jobs in campus placement. Companies like Citibank, Colgate, HUL, Amazon etc. are few among the list of companies that hire MBA grads from this colleges.
CAT Cut off: 85

  1. Management Development Institute: Established in 1973, MDI is located in Gurgaon and is accredited as one of the first internationally acclaimed MBA instituted. This colleges also is known to have 100% placement, companies like IBM, Airtel, Axis Bank, Goldman, Redbull are some of the few who are regular campus recruiters.

  1. Indian School of Business: ISB is a rather new business school that are fast climbed up the ladder of top MBA colleges of India. Founded in 2001, ISB became the youngest ever university to have a global ranking by 2008. Located in Hyderabad and Mohali, ISB is definitely one of the most affluent b-schools in India. Most of the top global companies hire from this prestigious institute. The only catch is that work experience in mandatory.
They accept GMAT scores.

  1. Institute of Management Technology: Founded in 1980, IMT is located in Ghaziabad. It is a private business school and offer various programs apart from their full time MBA like executive, doctorate, distance learning and other collaborative programs. Their highest domestic salary last year was 23 lakh.
They accept CAT, CMAT, MAT and XAT scores.

  1. Indian Institute of foreign trade: IIFT New Delhi campus was established in 1963 by the government of India as an autonomous body. They offer a variety of programs and is one of the top tier MBA schools. The other campus of IIFT is located in Kolkata.
They accept GMAT scores.

  1. International Management Institute: Located in New Delhi, IMI is one of India’s first corporate sponsored business school. It also has other campuses in Kolkata and Bhubaneswar. It is one of the 7 B Schools in India of get accreditation from AMBA, an international accreditation agency.
CAT Cut off: 90

  1. Jamnalal Bajaj Institute of Management Studies: JBIMS was founded in the year 1965. They have a variety of programs like Full time MBA, MSc in Finance and other part time and doctoral degrees. In 2014 the highest salary offered was 26 Lakh.

Apart from these there are a plethora of other top institutes like Symbiosis, IRMA, Rajiv Gandhi Indian Institute of Management, Birla Institute of Management Technology etc. So if it isn’t the IIM’s there are umpteen options that give you as good as an educational degree with great job placements and career security.

How to apply for AP CEEP 2013 :
State Board of Technical Education & Training, AP, Hyderabad has made arrangements to file online applications at various AP online/Helpline centres/ e-seva Centres/through payment gate way. The detailed list of these centres is available at http://sbtetap.gov.in website. In order to file application through these centres a filing fee of Rs.330/- (Rupees Three hundred and thirty only) (Excluding Application Cost) has to be paid to the operator by the candidate.
The detailed procedure of filling up of the application form is available in the instructions booklet supplied along with the Application Form. Candidates are advised to read these instructions carefully before filling-up the Application duly filled in the application form is to be given to the Operator for filing Online.

AP EAMCET 2013 Eligibility Criteria Online

The exam notifications for EAMCET 2013 have been released by APSCHE and the forms will be released on 15th February, 2013. The following information is based on last year's admission brochure and will be updated as soon as new brochure is out.
The EAMCET 2013 Eligibility Criteria has the following conditions which should be fulfilled by every candidate taking EAMCET 2013:

AP EAMCET 2013 Apply online, AP EAMCET application 2013

i) Candidates should have passed or appeared for the final year of Intermediate Examination (10+2 pattern) with Mathematics, Physics along with Chemistry / Biotechnology / Biology as optionals or related vocational courses in the fields of Engineering and Technology,  conducted by the Board of Intermediate Education, Andhra Pradesh along with bridge course or courses conducted by it for candidates enrolled during 2000-2002 and subsequent batches, or any other examination recognized as equivalent thereto by the Board of Intermediate Education, Andhra Pradesh, provided that candidates who have passed or appeared for the final year of Intermediate Examination (10+2 pattern)with Biology, Physics and Chemistry as optionals along with the bridge course examination in Mathematics conducted by the Board of Intermediate Education, Andhra Pradesh shall also be eligible for the Bio-Technology course. 

(ii) Candidate should obtain at least 45% of marks (40% in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) in the subjects specified taken together at 10+2 

(iii) In the case of Engineering and Pharmacy courses, candidates should have completed 16 years of age, as on 31st December of the year of admission. There is no upper age limit. 

(iv) In the case of B.Tech (Dairy Technology), B.Tech. (Ag. Engineering), B.Tech. (FST) and B.Sc. (CA & BM), Candidates should have completed 17 years of age as on 31st December of the year of admission and an upper age limit of 22 years for all the candidates and 25 years in respect of scheduled caste and scheduled tribe candidates as on 31st December of the year Admissions. 

d) For B.Sc. (Ag.)  / B.Sc. (Hort.) / B.V.Sc. & A.H. / B.F.Sc. and for remaining 50% seats in B.Tech. (FST) / B.Sc. (CA & BM) 

Courses: 
Candidates should have passed or appeared for the final year of Intermediate Examination (10+2 pattern) or any examination recognized as equivalent thereto by the Board of Intermediate Education, Andhra Pradesh with any two /three of the subjects indicated against each course noted below:

Note: 
(1) Irrespective of the subjects taken at the qualifying examination, candidates seeking admission to the above courses should appear  for Biology, Physics and Chemistry in EAMCET. 

(2) Candidates should have completed 17 years of age as on 31st December of the year of admission and an upper age limit of 22 years  for all the candidates and 25 years in respect of  scheduled caste and scheduled tribe  candidates as on 31st  December of  the year of  Admissions. 

e) For MBBS / BDS Courses (as per GO Ms.No. 195 dated 07-07-2011):

(i) Candidates should have passed or appeared for the final year of the Intermediate Examination (10+2 pattern) or equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry, Biology (Botany and Zoology) / Biotechnology and English individually and must have obtained 50% marks taken together in Physics, Chemistry, Biology (Botany and Zoology) / Biotechnology at the qualifying examination. In respect of candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste and Schedule Tribe & Backward Classes, the marks obtained shall be a minimum of 40% marks taken together in Physics, Chemistry, Biology (Botany and Zoology) / Biotechnology. 
(ii) Candidates should have completed 17 years of age as on 31st December of the year of admission. 

f) For BAMS / BHMS / BNYS Courses: 
(i) Candidates should have passed or appeared for the final year of the Intermediate Examination (10+2 pattern) or equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry, Botany and Zoology as optional which shall include a practical test in each subject. 

(ii) 
a) Candidates should have completed 17 years of age as on 31st December of the year of admission. 

b) There is no maximum age limit for admission into BAMS/BHMS 

c) For admission into BNYS course, candidate should not have completed 22 years of age as on 31st  December of the year of admission. For SC and ST candidates the maximum age limit shall be extended by 3 years. 

g) For B.Pharmacy Course: (Remaining 50 % of the seats):
(i) Candidates should have passed or appeared for the final year of the Intermediate Examination (10+2 pattern) with Physics, Chemistry and Biology optionals, conducted by the Board of Intermediate Education, Andhra Pradesh or any other examination recognized by the University as equivalent thereto. 

(ii) Candidate should obtain at least 45% marks (40% in case of candidate belonging to reserved category) in the subjects specified taken together in the qualifying examination. 

(iii) Candidates should have completed 16 years of Age by the date of commencement of Admissions or on such other date as may be notified by the CET Committee. There is no upper age limit. 

h) For Pharm –D Course (50% seats for M.P.C and 50% seats for Bi.P.C candidates): 
(i)  Candidates should have passed or appeared for the final year of Intermediate examination (10+2 pattern) with Physics, Chemistry and  Mathematics or Biology optionals conducted by the Board of Intermediate Education, Andhra Pradesh or any other examination recognized by the Board of Intermediate Education, Andhra Pradesh as equivalent thereto or should have passed or appeared at the final year of the Diploma examination in Pharmacy course conducted by the Andhra Pradesh State Board of Technical Education and  Training or any other examination recognized as equivalent thereto by the Andhra Pradesh State Board of Technical Education and Training. 

(ii)  Candidate should obtain at least 45 % marks (40% in case of candidate belonging to reserved category) in the subjects specified taken together in the qualifying examination. 

(iii)  Candidate should have completed 17 years of age as on 31st December of the year of admission to the course. 

3.  Proof of satisfying the marks criteria in respect of candidates who appeared for the Qualifying examination during the year should be furnished within 7 days after publication of the examination results by the concerned examination Board. 

4.  Criteria for Ranking:  The candidates who have secured qualifying marks in EAMCET and candidates belonging to the category of Scheduled Caste and Schedule Tribe, for whom qualifying marks have not been prescribed, shall be assigned ranking in the order of merit on the basis of combined score obtained by giving 75% weightage to the marks secured in EAMCET and 25% weightage to the marks secured in the relevant  group subjects namely Mathematics or Biology, Physics, Chemistry of the qualifying examination.

5. Submission of the Online Application form for Engineering (E) and Agriculture & Medicine (AM) streams: 
5.1 Candidates with Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry / Bio-Tech. / Biology as optional subjects in their Intermediate or its equivalent course should submit “E” stream online application for Engineering B.E./ B.Tech. / B.Tech. (Ag. Engg.) / B.Tech.(Dairy Technology) / B.Tech.(FST) / B.Sc.(CA & BM) (MPC) / B.Pharm. (MPC) / Pharm-D (MPC) courses.  

5.2 Candidates with Biology, Physics and Chemistry as optional subjects in their Intermediate or its equivalent course should submit “AM” stream online application for B.Sc. (Ag.) / B.Sc. (Hort.) / B.V.Sc. & AH / B.F.Sc. / B.Tech. (FST) / B.Sc. (CA&BM) / MBBS / BDS / BAMS / BHMS / BNYS / B.Pharm. / B.Tech. (Bio-Technology) (Bi.P.C.) / Pharm-D (Bi.P.C) courses. For B.Tech. (BioTechnology) (Bi.P.C), candidates shall pass / appear for Bridge Course exam in Mathematics conducted by B.I.E, A.P. as per G.O. 17 dt. 2-2-08.

8.  How to submit Application Form:  EAMCET – 2013 application should be submitted through ONLINE mode only.

10.  Entrance Test Date & Timings of EAMCET 2013: 
For Engineering Stream (E)        : 10-05-2013 from 10.00 AM to 1.00PM                                          
For Agriculture & Medical Stream (AM)       : 10-05-2013 from 02.30 PM to 5.30PM

7. Criteria for Admissions of EAMCET 2013 :
i. As per G.O. Ms. No. 181 dated 21-05-2008 of Health Medical and Family Welfare (E1) Department for admission into MBBS / BDS courses on the basis of Competitive entrance examination, a candidate for admission to those courses must have obtained not less than 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology taken together both at qualifying and EAMCET examination,. In respect of candidates belonging to SC/ST/BC must have obtained not less than 40% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology taken together both at qualifying and EAMCET examination. 

ii. As per the Gazette of India : Extraordinary under Part-III Rule No. 7(2) for admission into B.V.Sc. & AH Courses on the basis of competitive entrance examination, a candidate under General Category for admission to this course must have obtained 50% marks in English, Physics, Chemistry and Biology in their qualifying examination. In respect of candidates belongs to the Scheduled Caste / the Scheduled Tribe or other special category of student as specified by the Government from time to time, marks required for admission shall be 10% less than that prescribed for general category.  

iii. As per G.O. Ms. No. 74 & 75 dated 28-07-2011, the candidate shall fulfill eligibility criteria for Admission into Engineering, Pharmacy and Pharm-D courses.  

iv. However, in all the cases, candidate shall fulfill the eligibility criteria as laid down in the relevant G.Os /Amendments/Notifications to be issued at the time of Admissions.

Engineering, Agriculture and Medical Common Entrance Test (EAMCET) is conducted by Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Hyderabad on behalf of APSCHE for 2013-14 academic Year. This examination is the prerequisite for admission into various professional courses offered in University / Private Colleges in the state of Andhra Pradesh for 2013-14 academic Year.

1. Entrance Test:
Engineering, Agriculture and Medical Common Entrance Test – 2013 (EAMCET – 2013) will be conducted (as per G.O. Ms.No. 73 Higher Education EC.2 Dept dt:28-07-2011) by Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Hyderabad for entry into the first year of the following Under Graduate Professional courses offered for the academic year 2013-2014 in the University & Private unaided and affiliated Professional colleges in the State of Andhra Pradesh.

EAMCET 2013 Application Forms
will be released on 15th of February, 2013. Till then the candidates can find everything about the application procedure from the following information based on the last year information.
The candidates have to fill the EAMCET 2013 Application Form ONLINE only. They can visit the official websitehttps://www.apeamcet.org and fill out form.

Prior to filling the form, they should keep the following information ready:

  1. Hall ticket Number of S.S.C./ equivalent
  2. Hall ticket Number of H.S.C/ equivalent
  3. Date of Birth
  4. PH, NCC, Sports etc
  5. Caste( ST/BC/SC candidates)
  6. Income more or less than Two Lakhs
  7. Proof of local status.
Candidates will be asked for certificates of all of the above mentioned documents at time of counselling.
During the filling of EAMCET 2013 Application Form, they will be directed to the payment gateway where they will have to pay Rs. Rs. 250/- to initiate the EAMCET 2013 Application From filling process via one of the following two modes:
  1. E-SEVA/CSC/AP ONLINE
  2. DEBIT CARD/CREDIT CARD
The candidates who want to apply for Engineering, Medical and Agriculture should carefully check that they have filled the option-“E &AM Category” together in the online EAMCET 2013 Application Form. The candidates who do not do so, may be allotted different centers for both exams that will be held on one day and hence will not be able to give both of them
After completely filling the online EAMCET 2013 Application Form, the candidates are advised to verify the information filled by them. After that they can “SUBMIT” the form.
After submitting the form, the printable version of the EAMCET 2013 Application Form will be available which will bear the unique Registration Number for every candidate and this is to be preserved till the admission process is complete.
After this, the candidates are advised to remain in contact with the website regularly, to know the various updates of the exam.

From when are the JEE MAIN 2013 forms available?

JEE MAIN 2013 forms are available at the website,www.jeemain-edu.in. from Nov,1st,2012. The forms have to be filled up online only since they are not available offline. CBSE has announced the setting up of facilitation centres that will assist students in the online form filling without any charge.

2-year (Full Time) MBA programme 2013-2015

SBPPSE (AUD) : The School of Business, Public Policy and Social Entrepreneurship(SBPPSE) of Ambedkar University Delhi (AUD) promotes research and provides professional education and training in the field of management, public policy and social entrepreneurship. The school announces admission to an innovatively conceived two-year (full-time) MBA programme 2013-2015.

ELIGIBILITY : The candidate must have pursued a 3-year Bachelor’s programme securing at least 50 % of marks or equivalent CGPA (45% in case of candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST) and Physically Disabled (PD). Candidates appearing for the final year of bachelor’s degree/equivalent qualification examination and those who have completed degree requirements and are awaiting results can also apply. If selected, such candidates will be allowed to join the programme provisionally, provided he/she submits the results fulfilling the criteria to the AUD office latest by August 31, 2013.

ADMISSION PROCEDURE :
Candidates will be shortlisted for Group Discussion and Interview on the basis of their scores in the Admission Test which will be conducted online by AUD on Sunday February 10, 2013 in various centres in Delhi and outside. The registration for application will be open from November 6, 2012 till December 31, 2012. Interested candidates are required to apply by registering online on our website and by making payment of Rs.1000/- (Rs.500/- in case of SC/ST/PD candidates).

RESERVATIONS : As per norms of the NCT of Delhi.
