Eligibility for ICET web counseling.

OC candidates must have 50% score in ICET and SC or St may have 45% score. 

How to select web options : 

One must register first in ICET website for selections of web options for an admission into MBA and MCA. they must fill the details of their academic and their selected web options are locked after the start of Counseling. at the time of counseling they need to verify their certificates at any of the ICET helpline or ICET counseling centers given in apicet.nic.in.

Income Certificate Issued By AP Gov. After 01.01.2012 for eligibility of scholarship. 

Tution fee for MBA is 10000/- and for MCA 125000/- as in universities. 

A revised fee format will be soon available after the release of icet counseling notification. The Counseling will be commenced at respective District Head quarters.

APICET 2012

Integrated Common Entrance Test (ICET) in Andhra Pradesh (AP) is held for admission into

postgraduate management and computer application programs. The administering authority

for Integrated Common Entrance Test (ICET) is Andhra University (AU).

Graduate students in any discipline viz, science, arts, commerce, business, computers etc
writes ICET Entrance Exam. On the basis of score in ICET Andhra Pradesh candidate gets
admission in professional programs like Master of Administration (MBA), Master of Computer
Applications (MCA) etc.
Admissions are offered in full time, part time, distance learning and evening courses. Following universities / institutions
uses ICET score for admission.

ICET 2012 Application Form
Prescribed application form for the entrance test together with instructions booklet can be obtained in person on
payment of Rs.250/- in cash at (i) all the Head Post Offices in A.P., (ii) all the Post Offices located on the University
campuses, and (iii) the e-seva centres in Andhra Pradesh.
Duly filled-in application forms (placed in the envelope supplied) may be submitted along with relevant documents by
paying postal charges through the Head Post Offices to The Convener, ICET-2008, Besides University Computer Centre,
University College of Engineering, Osmania University, Hyderabad – 500 007 (A.P.) India on or before 04-03-2008.
The application forms may also be submitted on or before 15-03-2008 upto 5.00 p.m. along with a late fee of Rs.500/- in
the form of DD drawn on any Nationalized Bank in favour of The Secretary, APSCHE, payable at Hyderabad. Incomplete
application forms and application forms received after the specified date and time will summarily be rejected.
Online Submission: Applications also can be submitted online. However, a copy of the application downloaded along
with passport size photograph and D.D. for Rs. 250/- drawn in favour of “The Secretary, APSCHE”, payable at Hyderabad
is to be sent to the Convener, ICET-2008.
ICET 2012 Eligibility Criteria
The candidates should be Indian National and should satisfy local/non-local status requirements laid down in the
Andhra Pradesh Educational Institutions (Regulations of Admission) Order, 1974 as amended up to date (as per
G.O.Ms.No.25, date :19-03-2004 & G.O.Ms.No.108, Higher Education Department, dated 30-07-2005 and its
amendments).
The Candidate other then Indian Nationals should satisfy the rules of the Universities concerned.
A pass (or) appearance at the final year examinations of Bachelor’s Degree (Except BOL and BFA) of any University in
Andhra Pradesh or Any other University Recognized as equivalent thereto.
The candidate seeking admission into MBA course should have passed a Bachelor’s Degree Examination of not less
then three years duration from any recognized University or equivalent thereof besides passing SSC or equivalent
examination with Mathematics as one of the subjects.
The candidate seeking admission into MCA course should have passed a Bachelor’s Degree Examination or not less
than three years duration in any discipline with Mathematics at 10+2 level (or) should have passed Bachelor’s
Degree Examination of not less than 3 years duration in any discipline with Mathematics.

MBA and MCA admissions seat allotments will be processed on today based on rank merit, category, sex, Local area, special reservation category etc and will be placed in the web. Allotments will be placed inhttp://apicet.nic.in  30-08-2011, 06.00 PM. Enter the Registration Number, Hall Ticket number, Password and date of birth in Candidate Login. You have to download the allotment order. This is final allotment and request for change will not be entertained.
Download the challan form for payment of fee or collect it from helpline centre. With downloaded allotment order you have to remit the fees in one of the branches of Andhra Bank or Indian Bank in the State and obtain a receipt. However, in respect of all candidates whose parental income is up to one lakh per annum from all sources, is eligible for Tuition fee reimbursement and need not pay any amount through challan.
After paying fee with allotment order, fee receipt etc., candidate have to report at the respective College in which seat is allotted within the date mentioned by the authorities. If you fail to report on or before the date stipulated by the authority the allotment made in favors of you will be treated as cancelled and you will have no claim further on the allotment.
If candidate paid the fee and reported at the college, he can participate in the next phase of Web Counseling. If a seat is allotted as per option in that phase, candidate shall move to the new allotted College and Course and will have no claim on the previous allotment. At the end of the Counselling process, still student want to cancel the allotted seat, he can do so before a stipulated cutoff date.
